SUN Automation Group appoints director of aftermarket services

January 27, 2026

SUN Automation Group hired Ram Srinivasa as director of aftermarket services.

In this role, Srinivasa will lead SUN’s aftermarket strategy, focusing on service, parts support, and customer success across SUN’s global installed base, according to a SUN press release.

Srinivasa brings more than two decades of diverse industry experience spanning machine tools, corrugating, automation, and finishing operations. He began his career in the machine tool industry before transitioning into the corrugating sector, where he spent seven years. He spent the last 17 years in the finishing business.

“Ram’s background uniquely positions him to elevate SUN’s Aftermarket organization,” said Gokul Gopakumar, vice president of technology and business development and aftermarket at SUN. “His experience across multiple segments of our industry—combined with a strong understanding of finishing operations—allows him to approach service and aftermarket solutions from a truly customer-centric perspective. We are excited to have him lead initiatives that strengthen uptime, performance, and long-term value for our customers.”

“Aftermarket support is a critical part of how SUN differentiates itself in the market,” said Greg Jones, SUN executive vice president. “Ram’s extensive experience and proven leadership will be instrumental as we continue to invest in service, parts availability, and customer responsiveness. His addition reinforces our commitment to supporting customers throughout the full lifecycle of their equipment.”
