May 7, 2025

Fifty-two print jobs garnered recognition in the Flexographic Technical Assn’s 66th annual Excellence in Flexography Awards competition. Winning firms of the Gold, Silver, Bronze and “Best of Show” honors were announced at the FTA FORUM INFOFLEX 2025 Awards Banquet on Sunday.

Exploits of 30 individual converting operations were heralded when all was said and done. Sticking to FTA tradition, six of those jobs—one each from Narrow Web, Wide Web, Mid Web, Combined Corrugated, Preprinted Linerboard and Envelope—saw a Gold Award glean enviable “Best of Show” designation. They include:

  • McDowell Label, Narrow Web, RYZE Godzilla Strawberry Mango Dietary Supplement Label
  • PPC Flex, Mid Web, Freeze Nums Sour Salted Caramel and Berry Standup Pouch
  • Mondi Jackson, Wide Web, Instinct Ultimate Protein Cat Skin & Coat, 10-lb Bag (see above)
  • Marvaco Oy, Combined Corrugated, Carlsberg, 18-Pack Pilsner
  • WestRock, Preprinted Linerboard, Pampers My Little Pony Easy Ups, 74-Pack Box
  • MackayMitchell Envelope Co, Envelope, Animal Rescue

All together, judges awarded 14 gold medals—28% of honors; 19 silver, representing 3%; and 17 bronze, for 34%.
