Šabac, Serbia-based flexible-packaging printer & converter COMEX has installed a new 1,800-mm-wide, 5-layer film line from COLINES. The POLYBLOWN multipurpose blown-film extrusion line marks a significant technological upgrade to COMEX production capabilities.

With a capacity of 450 kg/h, the new PE-film extrusion line effectively doubles COMEX’s output, boosting efficiency and enabling a faster response to market demands. Thanks to the multilayering structure, the line delivers enhanced mechanical properties, greater strength, and broader application versatility for plastic films.

COMEX is a vertically integrated printer and converter of flexible-packaging plastics and papers. It serves the needs of brand owners in the food, beverage, pet food, personal-care and household-care markets.
