With an output of 94,000 tonnes/yr and a speed of 700 fpm, the Brueckner Maschinenbau production line is being built for its plant in Mexico.

Oben Group, a global leader in high-quality packaging films with a diverse product portfolio, continues to expand its footprint. Following the acquisition of KristaFilms in July 2023, the company is set to establish a new production facility in Monterrey, Mexico. This facility will feature reportedly the world’s most advanced BOPP-film production line, setting new industry benchmarks in output, speed, and winding diameter – delivered by Brückner Maschinenbau.

As one of Brückner’s earliest and largest customers, Oben Group has maintained a strong partnership with the company. Markus Gschwandtner, MD-Brückner Maschinenbau, expressed his appreciation for this collaboration: “I am particularly pleased that our long-term partnership has resulted in the world’s first 12-meter BOPP line.
