Extrusion Training Solutions, new consulting/training company, launched by industry veteran Lou Piffer

April 8, 2025

Press release submitted on behalf of Extrusion Training Solutions.

Extrusion Training Solutions, Frankford, DE, is a new company created by Lou Piffer, who has 36 years of extrusion-coating system sales at Davis-Standard as well as 30 years of extrusion-coating training experience through TAPPI.

Lou plans to take the experience he gained as a “finest faculty member” of TAPPI and provide in-house consultations and training for both engineers and operators. His list of training subjects offered encompass all components of the extrusion coating line.

“Lou’s training provided the foundation for much of my career as a technical troubleshooter of various extrusion processes that I still use to this day,” says Dan Miller of Amcor Flexibles.

Lou earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University.
