Stampa Sud S.r.l., an Italian printing company based in Lamezia Terme, has invested in two ROTOCON CHROME machines through ROTOCON local agent NTG DIGITAL srl. The investment includes an RFP 350 inline flexographic-printing press and an RSH 340 inspection slitter/rewinder.

The RFP 350 press features one printing unit and a semi-rotary diecutting station with slitting and dual rewinding, a flexo unit for varnishing with a UV-drying system complete with an anilox and cylinder, a cold foil/lamination unit, and a shear slitting unit with six rotary blades and a counter blade.

The RSH 340 inspection slitter/rewinder includes a 750-mm unwinder with an electronic web guide, splice table for label inspection, module to integrate a BST TubeScan inspection system, dual rewinder unit, vacuum slitting trim-edge remover, manual razor-slitting unit with six blades, and an automatic slitting unit with six shear knives.
