Batavia, IL-based Eagle Flexible Packaging says it plans to construct a new $5 million, 52,000-sq-ft facility in the Waupun (WI) Industrial Park. The proposed expansion is expected to begin in early 2025. EFP began operations in Waupun in 2021, after acquiring an existing, shuttered production facility. The company added 65 jobs in Waupun since 2021.
In 2024, EFP acquired its site at 1208 Wilson Drive in the Waupun Industrial Park and has invested more than $3 million in that facility, including facility improvements and the addition of state-of-the-art graphics equipment to support continued growth in Waupun.
The planned expansion is expected to be substantially complete by the end of 2025 and allows for 30 to 40 new jobs. According to Scott Deringer, COO for Eagle Flexible Packaging, future expansion plans call for a doubling of the current workforce over the next five years to support planned growth.
