Balcan Packaging to expand operations at WI plant

May 7, 2025

Saint-Leonard, QC, Canada-based Balcan Plastics says it plans to add a 15,250-sq-ft expansion to its facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The maker of PE films and related products anticipates doubling its workforce, adding 83 new full-time employees, working in four shifts over 24 hrs.

Balcan Plastics currently operates in a 215,000-sq-ft plant in the Lakeview Corporate Park (WI). The proposed development will expand the facility to house additional printing equipment. Construction is expected to begin this month, with completion anticipated by December 2025.
