Brentwood, UK-based independent converter BakPac hits a major production milestone, converting and shipping more than 1 million digitally printed standup pouches in a single week — a landmark the company now expects to become the new normal.

The achievement follows the installation of two additional Galaxy Packtech pouchmaking machines (above), bringing BakPac’s fleet to five, alongside two HP Indigo 200K digital presses – making BakPac the only site in the UK to run this setup.

With brands in health food, supplements, pet-care, and personal-care turning to BakPac for both small test runs and large national rollouts, the company has positioned itself as the UK’s go-to digital pouch partner for ambitious, fast-moving brands. And remarkably, this level of output is currently being achieved on a single long shift — leaving significant room for even further expansion.
