ISRA Vision moves into new German HQ

ISRA VISION GmbH has moved into its new headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. The new company HQ includes a production and assembly hall of around 33,000 sq ft as well as an office building that can accommodate up to 800 employees. Furthermore, the new headquarters offer workspaces for other companies and divisions within the Atlas Copco Group.

"We are very pleased to be able to move into our new headquarters," says Tomas Lundin, MD-ISRA VISION GmbH and President of the Machine Vision Solutions Div. within Atlas Copco Group. "In addition to numerous regionally based companies, we are in a good entrepreneurial environment in Frankfurter Strasse. Thanks to the good transportation connections, the proximity to the university and the modern and versatile premises, we increase our attractiveness as an employer in the region. In our new headquarters, we have more space to continuously develop our innovative products and our know-how in the field of machine vision. The new innovation center offers extended possibilities for customer interaction and enhanced customer experience. We are also particularly proud of the high energy-efficiency standard of our new headquarters."

ISRA VISION's new headquarters meet the KfW Efficiency House 55 standard. Accordingly, the production and office buildings require only 55% of the energy of a conventional new building and are therefore particularly environmentally friendly. The building rooftops are equipped with solar panels. The in-house photovoltaic system supplies the buildings with electricity; surplus electricity is fed into the grid. The landmarked water tower, which is located on the site, was renovated as part of the construction.

The new headquarters is located in Darmstadt's city center and is conveniently located. Employees also have the opportunity to charge electrically powered bicycles and cars on the company premises.
