Questions: Why baggy at bottom of roll?

Many have observed that bagginess can be worse at the bottom of a wound roll. As we will see, this is not expected given the often-purported mechanics of differential stretching and yielding due to incoming thickness variations. Perhaps it is due to combined stresses of both MD tension and CD pressure?
